Between Christmas 2020 and New Year 2021  

I'm not able to post as often since I have a baby in the house, my pup.  Sleep, play, eat, sleep is the cycle.  Life has changed.

But as I sit and think of wee baby Jesus, was it a silent night?  He had never known night as there is no night in heaven.  He is the Light of the World, yet how dim the light must have been in the crude stable as He opened His eyes for the first time on earth after being in heaven's radiant light, the bright shining of His Father's face.

Liz Curtis Higgs said, "'That first gleam of light.' that 'early morning light' is not only pure , it's also sure.'  Proverbs 4:18 says, 'The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day." She says, "The sun never changes its mind, never chooses not to rise, never goes to bed.  It keeps moving...a steady path across the sky.  Even when threatening clouds hover over us, even when wild storms rage inside us.  Far above those thunderclouds, the sun still shines." 

John 1:4-5 says, "In Him was life; and the life was the light of men.  And the light shines in the darkness; and the darkness did not comprehend it."

This past year had some dark clouds in many ways, but I never doubted that He is  there.
